The Maxi Skirt

The Maxi skirt is HOT for this fall! Maybe because maxi dresses were such a big hit this spring/summer season? Anyways, I LOVE this look and can not wait to get my hands on a few different styles! Different styles you may ask? YA! These are great in solids, prints, flowy, pleated, with slits, etc... Below you will see some looks celebs are wearing this season and how you can get this look too!

Here, Ashley Tisdale is pairing a solid maxi with a neutral dolman top. This is a very boho-chique look (minus the print). 

Here, we have Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale (again), Olivia Palermo, and  Jessica Alba wearing printed maxi skirts. Vanessa's look is a little frumpy/messy, while the other ladies look neat and well put together.

MAH-JOR (Rachel fans would get this :)) Here the FABULOUS Rachel Zoe looks ULTRA chique, high fashion, and glamorous pairing a flowy maxi skirt with a blazer. Absolutely LOVE this look! She gets it right every time!

This is my FAVORITE maxi skirt look! Rachel Bilson paired a bright colored skirt (with slits), high waisted, with a simple black tee and sandals! I love love love this look!

I love this color from Topshop. This could easily be casual or dressed up! I think a fun tribal print tee would look great or for a dressier look pair with a blazer!

Here is a printed maxi (there are plenty out there to chose from). You can easily throw a cardigan or jacket over this or I like the idea of a cropped cable-knit sweater!
